The World Orienteering Championships will be accompanied by the traditional Fin5 orienteering week, known as the WOC Tour amongst international orienteers. The WOC Tour / Fin5 orienteering week is for all orienteering enthusiasts, from beginners to top orienteers. There are races for everyone, from the children’s RR8 series to the H/D 85 series. Depending on demand, other age classes can be organised as well.

There will also be open classes option during the WOC Tour week. There are courses of varying levels and lengths, for seasoned orienteers and complete beginners alike.

As the finnish name suggests, Fin5 is a week of five different races. The week starts with a sprint, and continuing with the more traditional middle and long distance races, in forest terrain.

The WOC Tour races are synchronised with the World Championships, so that it is easy to spectate the World Championships and cheer on your favourites. After the rapturous cheering, you can go to some of the same terrain yourself to test your own speed.
